who are we?
Created in 2001 by a southern rock enthusiast and former editor-in-chief of BANDS OF DIXIE magazine (1998-2018), Compact Dixie is the reference record store in France for everything related to southern rock... You will find recordings of the masters of the genre (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers Band, Molly Hatchet, Marshall Tucker Band, etc...) as well as reissues of the most obscure bands but also the new generation both US and European of the style.
For the sake of musical openness, you will also find a large choice in related styles: Blues rock, country rock, hard rock, classic rock, jam bands, psy, etc...
